Chrysal and MAC Technologies join forces to market Arrive Alive by Chrysal

Chrysal
International and MAC Technologies have agreed on a working partnership. The goal
of this strategic alliance is to bring a flower packaging innovation to the market
called ‘Arrive Alive® by Chrysal’. ‘Arrive Alive® by Chrysal’
preserves the condition of cut flowers during transport and reduces water waste
in the floral chain. The concept consists of patented horticultural foam which hydrates
flowers during transport. This innovative concept will be distributed exclusively
by Chrysal International from June 1st 2012 in the USA, other markets to follow
shortly.
Enhanced flower quality
‘Arrive Alive® by Chrysal’ applied to the stems
will hydrate flowers during transport or at point of sale for three days. It keeps
flowers fresh without the need for a bucket or vase with water and is therefore
extremely user friendly. ‘Arrive Alive® by Chrysal’ will enhance performance
and quality of the flowers throughout the chain to the consumer. The concept fits
perfectly within the premium care assortment currently supplied by Chrysal.
Transporter 10
Next to Arrive Alive® by Chrysal, Chrysal will start distributing the
Transporter 10: floral vase blocks which can be used for
transporting vases and containers. The blocks have graduated openings and will accommodate
many different sizes.
Cooperation
MAC Technologies Development Corp. has been testing, qualifying, and quantifying
care and handling products for cut flowers since 1998 with customers, suppliers,
and growers. Chrysal as market leader in premium flower care has extensive, worldwide
knowledge of both the total horticultural chain as well as the different channels-to-market.
Chrysal will use its network to expand the availability of ‘Arrive Alive®
by Chrysal’ and Transporter 10 in the coming years.
