Local Production
A major shift in recent years has brought our production closer to our customers. Local production requires less transportation which helps the reduction of CO2. Nowadays we also produce in Japan, Colombia, Ecuador, Kenya and Naarden, The Netherlands. We can guarantee that products produced outside The Netherlands have the same high quality and meet the same ethical values. We are ISO certified and also work in accordance to ETI and BRC standards. It is our preference to work with suppliers who work in accordance with these same standards, for all our production locations across the globe.
Fairtrade Flower Food
We know that our products and materials used in our production, next to their primary function, also have their impact on the environment. To minimise this impact is a key part of our CSR strategy. We are implementing activities and projects which contribute to this reduction.
As a result, Chrysal is the first flower food company to produce Fairtrade liquid cut flower food, made with Fairtrade sugar.
Renewed Professional Range
In 2011, we renewed our complete Professional range, providing you with improved and concentrated formulations. The new labels give clear information about the use of each product and carry the Chrysal Cares logo. The Chrysal Professional range consists of outstanding hydrating and conditioning solutions for cut flowers, which lengthen the vase life and improves the quality in the chain.
