Chrysal supports social flower initiative during Messer Tulipano

During Messer Tulipano 2026 in Pralormo, the initiative “Roses and Stories” will launch on March 28. This program brings generations together through flowers, storytelling, and shared activities. Chrysal supports the initiative with specially developed Grandparents’ Day flower food sachets.

The program opens with the premiere of the animated fairy tale “The Feast of the Grandparents and the Power of the Rose.” In this story, a rose symbolizes care and connection between young and old—a theme that runs throughout the initiative.

A key part of the day is a flower workshop in which children create arrangements for residents of a care home in Pralormo. The flowers are treated with specially produced Chrysal sachets featuring the Grandparents’ Day logo. This not only helps extend the vase life of the flowers, but also adds meaning to the gesture.

The flowers are sourced from MPS-certified growers in the Netherlands and Italy. The initiative is organized by Stichting Grootouderdag, which is committed to strengthening the bond between generations and reducing loneliness.

By supporting “Roses and Stories,” Chrysal contributes to an initiative where the value of flowers goes beyond the product itself, becoming visible in meaningful moments of human connection.
