Chrysal is joining several initiatives to help prevent loneliness among elderly. Together with the Fellini foundation and several partners events are organized worldwide where children make beautiful flower arrangements to give to elderly to prevent loneliness. All flower arrangements also receive Chrysal flower food so they can be enjoyed longer. Flowers give happiness but also provide connection.
We are proud that we support the Dutch initiative 'Floriculture together against loneliness for elderly’ by contributing flower food for all the 150.000 bouquets that will be given away to lonely elderly next Friday. This initiative is part of the #LetHopeBloom campaign by Bloemenbureau Holland.
During the Loneliness Awareness Week, from September 28 to October 4, 2023, meeting and connecting are the focus. As part of this week, Grandparents' Day will be celebrated on Sunday, October 1. A flowery day to give extra attention to all grandparents in the Netherlands and connect generations. Gerda Lenten Havertong has been appointed ambassador of Grandparents' Day.
Chrysal SVB is a post-harvest product which stimulates the opening of the buds and prevenst leaf yellowing. This product is preferaly used by growers directly after harvest. Chrysal SVB comes in a tablet form and can be dosed easily.
At the IPM we will introduce our improved Chrysal Professional 2 in a new Bag-in-box packaging. We have improved our well known Professional 2 to keep your flowers beautiful even longer. It contains just enough nutrients for the natural development of flower, while preventing flowers from opening too soon. Along with the improved formula of Chrysal Professional 2, we are also introducing a new and more convenient packaging; the Chrysal Bag-in-box. Our new Bag-in-box contains 70% less plastic than our standard blue containers.
OAT Agrio Japan Ltd (OAT) and Chrysal have worked together and collaboratively shared their knowledge and passion for achieving the highest quality cut flowers. Chrysal will begin distributing OAT crop protection products in South America and Kenya, the highly effective mite control product, Danisaraba.

Yesterday we have unveiled our new Flower & Plant Care app at the IFTF and the Royal Holland Trade Fair. With the app you can experience the Chrysal Effect in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). Also, you will have your very own personal assistant in the palm of your hands. The app can help you take care of your flowers at home, by showing you how to best take care of them.
